Indie Music Streams was founded by an artist, for artists. Researching the models of our current largest streaming platforms and experiencing the benefits of creating your own subscription model, Founder and CEO Barry Victor Jr set out to create a music streaming platform that immediately places value on the artists who make up the platform.

The quote "No man is an island" is what this platform is built on, because the truth is that no one person is truly self-sufficient and must rely on others to survive in some fashion. So while some platforms cater to its most recognized artists, we understand that without the addition of millions of other artists and songs, that these platforms wouldn't be able to survive. Indie Music Streams understands that clearly, and strives to be the platform that brings equality to all of our participating artists. Our goal is to focus on each artist's super fans so that when they come to support that artist, they can be sure that their dollars are going directly to that specific artist.
