Delete your account

You can ask us to permanently delete your Indie Music Streams account and the personal data associated with it. Here’s how, and what happens to your data.

How to request deletion

  1. 1Email us at support@indiemusicstreams.com from the address on your account, with the subject “Account deletion request.”
  2. 2Tell us the account email (and display name, if any) so we can locate and verify your account.
  3. 3We’ll confirm your request and delete your account. Please allow up to 30 days for deletion to complete.

Opens your mail app with a pre-filled request. You can also write to us directly at support@indiemusicstreams.com.

What we delete

  • Your account and profile (email, name, display name)
  • Your library, likes, playlists, and follows
  • Your listening history and in-app activity

What we may retain

  • Limited transaction and payout records required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance
  • Data we must keep to prevent fraud or resolve disputes

Retained records are kept only as long as the law requires, then deleted.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you have an active paid subscription, consider canceling it first from your account settings. For more on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
