Terms & Community Guidelines

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior on Indie Music Streams. You may not upload, post, message, or otherwise share content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, or the exploitation of minors. You may not bully, stalk, impersonate, or abuse other users.

Content and messages that violate these guidelines will be removed, and accounts that post them may be suspended or permanently banned without notice. We aim to review reports and act on objectionable content and abusive users within 24 hours.

You are responsible for everything you upload (music, artwork, video, photos, lyrics, and profile details) and everything you post or send (messages, forum posts, and comments). You must own or have the rights to the music and media you publish, and it must comply with the standards above.

We use automated screening on uploaded audio and on messages to help catch objectionable material, alongside human review of reports. Screening is a safeguard, not a guarantee — please report anything that slips through.

Every fan profile and every direct-message conversation has a Report control. Use it to flag a user or a message that violates these guidelines; you’ll be asked for a reason and can add detail. Reports go straight to our moderation team for review. You can also email us at support@indiemusicstreams.com.

You can Block any user from their profile or from your conversation with them. Blocking immediately ends your connection, stops them from messaging you, and stops them from sending you new community requests. You can unblock someone later from their profile if you change your mind.

We may remove content, restrict features, and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules or put other users at risk. Where required, we cooperate with law enforcement. Serious violations — including sexual content involving minors — are reported to the appropriate authorities.
